OMG

I know, half way through the year already. Can you believe it? And I also cannot believe it has been almost an entire month since I have blogged. Well, alot has been happening...Stella is out of school for the summer of course, but has enjoyed the last month of camp at her school ALOT. The newest on that scene? She had a "meeting" with the director of her school about staying at school for lunch. She has been staying every day since...until 2:30! Oh man she is growing up.
She also got called for a job, it was all the way down in the Everglades at 8am. Short, but alas another adventure. She said she had fun, I guess so much fun, she wanted more pics taken, so we stopped off at this place called Kiddie Kandids. Great deal, Ill post a few next time.
What I wanted to post this time is all about my bestest girlfriend Jocelyn. We have known each other since '98 and have kept in touch ever since. She just had Aiden four months ago and I got to take a last minute trip this past weekend. Was fun to fly by myself, because you know these days you are lucky if you make it to your destination on the day you reserved, much less the time you were supposed to board. It turned out well...I got there at a reasonable time, Tony and Jocelyn had some friends over for a bonfire party. Ever been at a bonfire party in June in Maine? The weather was PERFECT. The rest of the weekend was pretty much relaxing. I knew it would be, all nice and cozy in the woods. I only packed a backpack, knowing all I would need were a few essentials. And also knowing my flights would be all over the place...which they were.
The best part of it all? Aiden is a dream baby. She stays at home with him most days and he put himself on a schedule so well he never fusses unless its something out of the ordinary. Like clockwork. he wakes up talking to himself, not even crying.
Jocelyn is doing a great job. Im was so happy to have the chance to meet him so young. Time flies, we all know.
So tomorrow, Im headed up with Stella to see "ghee and pop pop", in SC. My sister, her husband and two kids are already there so we will get up there by Friday. Would rahter fly, but you know airports and holidays...the dont do well together.
Much more has happened.
I know recently I spoke of crying in my wine, but I am happy to say things are def looking up. Its one of those periods in your life where you realize you had to go through what you endured to be stronger, in this case its not just me, its my marriage.
On that note, I will leave you with a few pics of my travels.

I had so much fun hanging out with you last weekend! I love your blog, and I've been keeping up with it lately, although this is my first comment since I just created another google account. Silly me, I forgot all the details of my other account like my name and stuff, lol!

Those pics are great! Stella is just gorgeous. I can't believe how fast she's growing up. I NEED to see her soon!

Bella misses you!
